We take helping you find work very seriously as such we are extremely proud of the thousands of students our program has helped to secure work in the bartending profession. Our success rate is audited by the Oregon State Department of Education annually and has consistently surpassed a 70% success rate. At the Portland Bartending Academy our placement directors work full time identifying job leads and responding to requests from bars and lounges from Vancouver, Portland, all the way down to the Salem area and beyond both North and South. We then pass these leads and opportunities to our students so that they can better target their energies toward the opportunities that are current and in many cases awaiting their application.
Additionally, the Portland Bartending Academy provides many bartending jobs every week for private parties, weddings and other catered events that we pass on to our students as a way to help them gain valuable experience as well as make some extra money. Our students earn from $15 to $20 an hour with a 4-hour minimum (plus tips) to provide their bartending services to one of the events we coordinate for them.
